The "vanilla" Orange is a sweet orange without seeds with a gentle and aromatic fragrance.

The vanilla oranges belong to the blonde oranges and this is the only species that have an extremely low acidity of .06 to .15%. Furthermore, the skin between an individual pieces is very thin.

Due to the low acidity also people with stomach problems can eat these oranges. They also contain little sugar and are therefore popular with diabetics.
