It has a cylindrical shape, slightly rounded towards the outside and with flat faces. This cheese is the pride of our alpine pastures, prepared with tender passion and carefully seasoned.
It is pervaded by the scent of our mountains. The perfume of grass and flowers can be clearly smelled. Taste it to savour the ancient tables where it was some times the only dish.
The Nostrano Valtrompia is a hard cheese made from raw milk and some saffron.
Taste:
Full-bodied and intense flavor without acid for less mature cheese and slight acidity for aged cheeses.
