From the beautiful Sicily a very simple and delicious recipe for a fresh salad of the season.
Ingredients:
- 2 fresh fennel bulbs
- 2 Ribera oranges
- 20 Sicilian almonds
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil "Valli Trapanesi" DOP
- Salt from Trapani
- Pepper
Slice the fennel very finely. Peel the oranges and cut into 0.5 cm thick slices. Peel the Sicilian almonds (cook 1 minute after that, the skin can be easily peeled off). Mix all ingredients in a bowl and season with plenty of olive oil and salt and pepper.
