The olive variety Nocellara del Belice is a typical olive variety from Sicily, which carries the protected designation of origin (DOP = denominazione di origine protetta) of the European Union.

This species is found in the province of Trapani in the green countryside between Partanna, Castelvetrano and Campobello di Mazara on the slopes of Lake della Trinità, which lies only a few kilometers from the sea. The Mediterranean air promotes the growing of particularly strong trees. This contributes to particularly robust olives, which are among the best in Italy.

The Oliva Noccellara is round and has an intense green color. This olive is harvested by hand in Sicily.
