Extra virgin olive oil DOP of Etna is made from olives grown on the slopes of Mount Etna in very small growing area.
The taste is fresh and intense with notes of artichoke and fresh herbs. This olive oil fits perfectly with all dishes of the Mediterranean cuisine.
The olive oil is produced from the olive variety Nocellara Etna, which is grown on the slopes of the Etna volcano, at an altitude of between 400-900 meters above sea level.
The harvesting is done by hand or by mechanical means.
The olives are cold pressed within 6 hours from harvest (temperature never above 27 ° C).
