The Bricco Maiolica is divided between the municipalities of Diano d’Alba and that of Alba. The Vigna Vigia is in the municipal area of ​​Alba and has the best characteristics of the Barbera delle Langhe of Alba.
This Barbera, aged for about 18 months in small oak barrels, becomes velvety and enveloping.
It is never harsh. The fruity and vanilla notes of the small barrels where it is refined harmonize with the strong structure of the wine to offer more complex and new tastes and aromas. It is suitable for tasty and well-seasoned dishes. It becomes the ideal companion for the great mixed boiled meat. It prefers fatty and slightly seasoned cheeses.
It should be served at 16 ° C in large glasses so as not to lose the pleasure of its enveloping perfume.
