DESCRIPTION OF THE ARNEIS SAGLIETTO MALVIRÀ
Arneis Malverà Saglietto is a white wine from Roero with rich fruity aromas, an elegant and velvety touch and a good structure. It is produced by an important and significant Roero winery, whose growth has gone hand in hand with that of the territory. The brothers Massimo and Roberto Dalmonte, at the helm of Malverà, have always had a look that went far beyond the company boundaries, trying to enhance the most typical and authentic characteristics of the terroir.
This Roero Arneis DOCG Malverà comes from the Saglietto vineyard, rooted in a hilly clayey calcareous soil and cultivated according to the dictates of organic agriculture. To ensure a true and full expression of the territory, this Arneis is vinified in steel and aged for about 10 months in oak and steel barrels. The freshness and fragrance of the Roero hills are thus integrated with great balance with pleasantly toasted and vanilla nuances. The label, captivating and full of charm, depicts a woman with long hair and a wheel and wants to pay homage both to the mysterious images that populate the tarot cards and the ancient coat of arms of the Counts Roero, depicting a wheel that has become a real symbol of the territory.
Good structure and pleasant complexity make Arneis Saglietto an ideal combination with savory fish and vegetable dishes, pasta dishes, white meats and medium-aged cheeses. It is presented in the glass in a straw yellow color crossed by a brilliant gilding. The bouquet emanates aromas of white fruit combined with enveloping nuances of honey, vanilla and toasted almonds. On the palate it is soft, enveloping and elegant. Softness, pleasantness, expressive complexity and good balance are its strengths: a high-level Arneis characterized by an excellent quality / price ratio.
Color Straw yellow with golden reflections
Bouquet Intense and pleasant fruity scents, with a hint of light toasting and vanilla
Taste Full-bodied and honeyed, elegant, confirms the fruity scents
