PRODUCTION AREA:

Grapes are produced on the estate situated one km from the coast.

SOIL:

Formed in the medium-upper Pliocene Epoch, the land differs according to the site from lime-clay to sandy lime-clay soil.

GRAPE VARIETY:

Montepulciano 100%.

PRODUCTION TECHNIQUE:

Fermentation of highly selected hand picked grapes in stainless steel tanks with prolonged skin contact depending on the particular quality of the grapes. After completion of the malolactic fermentation the wine is then aged in small French oak barrels for at least one year. A further 12 months of aging in the bottle completes the evolution of this wine.

ORGANOLEPTIC CHARACTERISTICS:

Deep ruby with violet highlights. Very intense and persistent nose with detection of soft fruits, dried flowers and a thought of vanilla. Full bodied, elegant and soft to the taste.
