Hatozaki Pure Malt Whisky is produced by blending malts aged in three different casks: ex-bourbon, ex-sherry and in barrels made from the prized Mizunara wood (typical Japanese oak). The aging in Mizunara gives the distillate notes of sandalwood and incense. The nose is rich with notes of dried fruits, sweet cereals, honey, incense and sandalwood.
