Hundreds of residents and tourists who attended in Sanremo the rehearsal for the world record of the longest Sardenaira of the world. Next year, the Guinness record for the longest anchovy pizza in the world will be officially cracked.

The record in numbers: For the 26.8 m long Sardenaira Pizza (corresponds to 1000 pieces), the following ingredients were used: 40 kg flour, 5 kg olives, 10 liters of olive oil, 3 kg garlic, 1 kg of capers and oregano and 1 kg of anchovies.

The rehearsal was also attended by the Mayor of Sanremo and the Assessor for Culture.

The date for the Guinness world record in 2015 has yet to be announced.
