Tasting notes: Intense ruby red to the brim. Powerful nose with red fruits and hints of blueberries, blackberries and spicy notes, then also clear toasted aromas of caramel and vanilla, finally a touch of suede. Pleasantly smooth prelude, replaced by an explosion of fruity aromas, very dense, concentrated, but nevertheless showing much of the velvety components, typically slightly spicy, with great encrusted tannins; a fine note of bitter almond in the long and full-bodied finish.

Pairings: Perfect to accompany red meat dishes, lamb, poultry.
