Character:
The Pfarrhof provides ideal conditions for the well-structured red wine. The maritime climate, the warm chalky gravel and dense plantings and low yields of 40 hectoliters per hectare form the base. Spontaneous fermentation, 20-month aging in oak barrels and unfiltered bottling make this wine a delicacy: the wine with its intense, ruby​​-purple color has a scent of blackberry, licorice, cinnamon and some undergrowth. The flavor is strong with dense tannins and a long finish.

Recommendation:
It goes well with red meats, game and mature cheeses.
