A giant in its class, a wine that demands to be tasted, and that hints at the sheer endeavour of man and Nature required to obtain what was known in ancient times as a "gift of the gods".


Blend: 95% Sangiovese grapes, 5% black Malvasia.

Colour: intense red-purple, lively and bright.

Bouquet: intense, persistent aroma of violets, ripe red fruit and Mediterranean spices.

Taste: round, pleasantly soft, fine tannins, persistent.

Ageing: 24 months in barrels of oak from Allier plus 6 months in bottle.
