Fattoria Poggiopiano Rosso di Sera IGT 1997

This is the highest class of the Poggiopiano winery.

This wine is made from a selection of Sangiovese and Colorino grapes. This is one of the few Tuscan wines that knows how to appreciate the Colorino grape altogether. This grape is often used only in small amounts to round out the taste.

The color is an intense ruby red color and the flavor ranges from vanilla to blackberry, cocoa to black pepper. A great wine of great complexity and elegance.
