Passo delle Tortore, a winery in Irpinia, originates from an idea of four young female entrepreneurs from the south and a very young winemaker trained among the vines of "historic" France. Turtle doves, a symbol of love, family and loyalty to the land and nature, have been the inhabitants of this territory for many years. From the "kiss with hints of honey" of the turtle doves was born our "Fiano," a fresh, fruity wine with hints of honey, lime and tropical fruit. In the arches of the old village of Avellino, the little wild turtle doves received the seeds of life, while an old woman with the scent of wild must intoxicated the entire community. From that ancient suggestion was born "Le Arcaie," the Greco di Tufo wine made from grapes from high hillside soils. From the flowering fields of wild thistles that invaded this hill was born "Piano del Cardo," the straw-yellow Falanghina wine. An elegant walk in the places adjacent to Pietra dei Fusi, called Passo Serra, inspired the ruby red of our Aglianico "Sassoserra."
